A large luxury 4000 sq. ft cabin with an additional 3000 sq. ft. of covered deck on two acres overlooking a private pond. Perfect for large family gatherings and perfect for hosting special events upon request. Conveniently located a couple of miles from Beavers Bend State Park where all the hiking trails, fly fishing and Mountain Fork River activities are.
Experience the highly elevated view from the two large decks surrounded by trees overlooking the water. On the top deck you will enjoy the hot tub, large porch swings, multiple seating areas, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, outdoor TV area Cornhole and shuffleboard. On the bottom deck you can challenge family or friends to game of mini golf on our 9 hole course. Never worry about rain outs with because both decks are completely covered at this spectacular cabin. This cabin is also conveniently located near Hochatown where you will find all favorite attractions and restaurants.
Luxurious Cabin Features
Enjoy upscale furnishings, high-end finishes, and plenty of activities for everyone. The living room and kitchen are an open concept, so it is perfect for groups that want plenty of space. There is a beautiful rock fireplace in the living room and a large 65” Smart TV equipped with full surround sound. Enjoy Hulu TV or choose to stream a movie from your account (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc.) while relaxing on the sectional sofa or comfortable chairs.
The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking essentials and upgraded KitchenAid appliances. It also features a waterfall edge granite island with seating for seven and a large dining table with seating for ten, so your entire group can fit comfortably. Right next to the kitchen is a fun game room to kick back and relax to watch a game on the large 65” TV or play a game of pool.
This cabin features four king master suites with two on the main floor and two downstairs. Each master suite is beautifully decorated with an accent wall for the bed and comes with its own 55″ Samsung Smart TV. Each of these gorgeous suites have their own private bath with vessel vanity sinks and stunning large tile showers. The bunk room is a kids (or big kids!) dream with ten custom bunk beds, large hammock to relax in, en suite bath with double vanities and a luxurious wet room.
This cabin is loaded with amenities for everyone! With a pool table, foosball, shuffleboard, ping pong, 9 holes of mini golf, cornhole, games, swings around the fire pit, and fishing at the pond.
Spacious Deck & Outdoor Activities
Outside you will find a huge double decker deck (3000 sq. ft.) with a highly elevated views of the beautiful surrounding trees and pond. This deck has plenty of room for everyone! You walk onto the top deck where there are two large sectional sofa areas, large stone fireplace with a 65″ Smart TV, and two custom large porch swings. Plus, an outside dining area seats ten where folks can relax and chill while grilling at the outdoor kitchen. There is also a large hot tub which seats seven people when you’re ready to relax and unwind for the day. If you head down to the lower deck you will find a full 9 course mini golf set with LED lighting for games during the day or night. The entire deck is completely covered providing full shade and allowing you to enjoy the outdoors even on a rainy day.
If you venture off the deck you will find a nice firepit with saucer swings, porch swings and plenty of seating to enjoy a fire on a cold night or roast some marshmallows for smores! Or you could head down to the pond to catch a fish or two! (catch and release only). Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fantastic and spacious cabin. The kitchen was well-equipped, the suites were just right with gorgeous showers, and the kids loved the unique back room. We all enjoyed mini-golf and we spent most of our time on the huge top deck. What a great space! Stephen is responsive and polite.

Summary: The house was beautifully decorated and had plenty of games for entertainment. Our favorite part was definitely the enormous deck—it was the perfect spot for enjoying our meals and relaxing outdoors.However, while the house itself was fantastic, we were a bit disappointed by the property. The pond shown in the photos appeared much smaller in person, and when we arrived, it was murky and difficult to access due to the incredibly steep slope. Additionally, we were hoping for a designated outdoor area where the kids could play, but unfortunately, there wasn't any recreation space. The grounds mainly consisted of a pebbled driveway and the steep slope down to the pond, with nothing else around except your close neighbors or the road. We felt the outdoor grounds photos of this property were a bit deceiving.Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but we wish the outdoor space matched our expectations.

Summary: Once Upon a Pond met every expectation we had. We had 18 of us to celebrate an 80th birthday and it was perfect. The house’s amenities are amazing and so much to do for all ages. The house was clean and very well stocked. We’d absolutely come back and highly recommend.

Summary: Wow, where do I start? Maybe out front with the lovely fire pit set up with seating for 12 or 15. Walk through the custom Steel front door entry and you are greeted with a very grand open space that is even larger and better appointed than the pictures show! get lost exploring the four king en suite rooms with each their own custom decorated and designed marble showers. Head out to the back deck and take in the beauty of pine trees with the pond below. We sat on the deck and watched fish swim around for hours. Where to next? The eight person hot tub? Or putt putt down below? Or how about the awesome game room with pool, shuffleboard, foosball, board games for days and comfy seating. And the bunk room is pure genius! I am a builder, and I have to say it is a very well designed and built sleeping experinece. Don’t forget the generous size daybeds hanging on the back porch. Two of our guys slept out there with nothing but the moonlight and listening to coyotes Helen in the distance. Needless to say, you’re not going to find a better home in Broken Bow! Book it now before it’s too late. We will be back!!! Also, Stephen was a very responsive and accommodating host, allowed us to check in FOUR HOURS early due to the fact that we only had two days here and he wanted us to be able to maximize our time. Stephen, thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Summary: ABSOLUTLELY AMAZING! This was the first of hopefully many to come, of our families Christmas tradition.From start to finish, inside and out, this home offered us the best experience ever. The host was kind, courteous and available to assist with any and all of our needs. The pictures don't do it justice, beautiful decor and every room was spotless. The covered decks were not only enormous but very inviting, with its beautiful views and well thought out amenities. I could go on and on, but words can't express the wonderful time we had. We are very much looking forward to coming back to experience this home during the summertime. Thank you for the beautiful memories you've given our family, through this amazing experience. Summary: This cabin is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a getaway. We spent most of our time at the home because of all the great activities there were to do. The hosts are phenomenal at communicating and checking to see how the stay goes. We are already planning our next getaway to this cabin.

Summary: 5 out of 5 stars does not do this property justice!!! Beautiful indoor/outdoor setting... beyond outstanding rental cabin... we had the time of our lives!!!!! This cabin has anything you could possibly want for a long weekend or full week getaway... we never left the property during our stay. So much to do for the adults and kids... game room with gorgeous pool table, separate ping pong room, mini-golf on one of the covered decks... and of course outdoor deck space with hot tub and overlook of the fishing pond. Nothing compares to the attention to detail with the furnishings and decor for this cabin... simply gorgeous!!! And then there is the BUNK Room... kids (and adults) did NOT want to leave!!!!! We had a FABULOUS experience with our Once Upon a Pond cabin and are already planning our next stay!!! Thank you Stephen for sharing this amazing property!!!!!
